How to Sign Up on CooQu as a customer?

To Sign Up on CooQu as a customer, follow these steps:

Download the CooQu app from your App Store or Play Store 
Click ‘Get Started/Sign Up’
Choose to continue with either ‘Google’ or ‘Facebook’ or ‘Sign up with Email’.
In case, if you have chosen to sign up with an email address. Fill in the form to create your profile; enter your first & last name, email ID, mobile number, and password. Most importantly, please read our terms and conditions and click the box to agree and accept the T&C to use the CooQu platform.
Press ‘Sign Up’.
A verification code (OTP) will be sent to your mobile phone by text message (SMS), please enter the code and press ‘Verify’. If you’ve not received the SMS, please check your email, the verification code (OTP) is also emailed to the email address you’ve advised. 
Once the verification code (OTP) is entered, the signup process is complete.

Can I view the CooQu app without signing up?

Accepted Answer

Yes there is an option to view how the app works without needing to sign up, simply press ‘Skip’ on the top right of your screen asking for sign up/sign in Or press ‘Continue as a Guest’ which is the last sign up option. If you would like to make an order then you will be required to signup and provide us your information to fulfil your order.

How to place an order on CooQu App?

Accepted Answer

Once you are on the home screen of the CooQu app, there will be a blank search bar. Enter the name of the dish or CooQu Cook name that you are searching for. You can also browse through various menus created by our CooQu Cook that are around your location. 
You may also search specific services (such as Experience, Meal, Din-In, etc) by selecting the service you are after from the top of the screen. Once you find what you’d like to order, add them by clicking the available option , it will redirect you to the order placing section. 
Where you need to fill all necessary information about your order. If you have not signed in, this will take you to the signup page where you will be requested to complete the formalities (refer to question 1 on this FAQ). 
Once the order details are entered, click on the continue button at the bottom and you will redirect to the payment page.
Select from the various payment options and complete your payment securely. That's it, you have ordered your food from the CooQu app. Happy eating.

Can I schedule a delivery for a later time?

Yes, you can schedule a delivery for a later time.

Go to the CooQu App.
Add your food item into the cart.
Now, click on continue and go to the schedule section and select the desired delivery date and time.

Now, complete the payment process and your order will be scheduled as per your desired date and time.

What locations do you serve?

Accepted Answer

CooQu serves around India and Australia. However, the availability of CooQu services at anytime may vary based on our CooQu Cooks operating around your location at that time. It's best to check the CooQu app to confirm if they serve your specific area or not.

Question 6

Does CooQu India Charge GST or Tax?

Accepted Answer

Yes, based on the government regulating tax guidelines in any jurisdiction, CooQu India charges GST (Goods and Services Tax) and any other taxes that are applicable in the area where the delivery is being made. These taxes are calculated based on the total cost of the order, including the price of the food, delivery fee, and any other charges. The GST and taxes are usually displayed separately on the invoice and the final amount charged to the customer will include these charges.

Can I track my order online?

Currently, CooQu Cooks are responsible for their own delivery services. you can track the delivery from the status updates made by the CooQu Cooks on the app. You can also contact CooQu Cook on their mobile, by pressing the call icon on the right top of your order summary.

Note: In future, CooQu is looking to introduce a delivery partner to assist with delivery services.

Can I return my food?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the CooQu Cook that you are using. Some CooQu Cook may have a policy in place for returning or exchanging food, while others may not. If you are not satisfied with the food that you received, you can report the order via app itself by going in the completed orders identifying the order that you have an issue with and you can report that order with additional information and evidence.

In general, if there is an issue with the food you received, it's best to address it as soon as possible to give the CooQu Cook an opportunity to rectify the situation. Keep in mind that food-related complaints may be subject to time constraints, so the sooner you raise your concern, the better.

What if I’m allergic to a specific food item?

If you are allergic to specific food items. Just follow the below steps while ordering the food in the CooQu App.

Open the CooQu app while placing the order. Add your food to the cart and "click" on the continue button.
You will get an interface where you will be asked to provide some necessary information like location details, whether you want to deliver,pickup or dine-in.
Scrolling down to the app you will notice a section with the name "Your Order" here you will see an option of "instruction note" click on it to provide the details about the food items you are allergic to and then press "Done".
By giving the instructions note our CooQu Cook would get the notification and they will take care and prepare the food as per your given instructions.

How do you ensure the authenticity of the food you deliver?

CooQu expects home cooks that sign up to use CooQu platform to sell their food, to maintain and follow food handling guidelines. By signing up to CooQu as a home cook, CooQu Cook’s confirm:

That they have all the necessary food safety licenses and permits to ensure they meet the necessary health and safety standards.
That they would follow strict food handling guidelines to ensure that the food is prepared and handled safely.
That they would  allow customers to rate and review their experience with the food and .
By implementing these measures, CooQu ensures that customers receive fresh, authentic, and high-quality food from their cook partners.

Question 11

How can I avail a theme-based dining experience?

Accepted Answer

It's very simple, just open the CooQu app. If you're a new user signup or just login if you are already a user. You can also look at the home screen by ‘continuing as a guest’.

Once you are on the home screen, all the fiver service types would appear on the top. Choose ‘Experience’ and all the CooQu cook’s offering this service type would appear. 
Select the one you like and press ‘Book My Seat’. Follow the prompts and fill in your details of the booking.
Complete the booking by confirming the payment details.

Question 12

How can I contact CooQu India admin to report an issue or lodge a complaint?

Accepted Answer

You can send your query or complaint via the ‘Profile’ tab. Scroll down to ‘Help’ and choose the most appropriate option along with details of the issue. You can add screenshots and photos that are relevant to your query. Once done press ‘Send Report’.
If you would like to provide more detailed feedback, you can click ‘Send feedback’. Write your query in the text box and press ‘Submit’. You will receive an email confirmation to your registered email. 
Alternatively, you may send your query by email to admin@cooqu.co.in 
CooQu admin would contact you via phone and email at the earliest possible. 
Based on past interactions with various cooks, CooQu has gathered responses for some general queries and saved them under ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ (located below ‘Send a Feedback’).
